Revenues Support Consultant (Council Tax and NDR)

Overview

As a Revenues Support Consultant in the Government team, you’ll resolve software issues and enquiries while fostering strong client relationships. You’ll work with product and development colleagues to improve our software and drive satisfaction. The role leverages your Revenues and Benefits expertise in a public sector context. You’ll help ensure issues are handled efficiently using ITIL-aligned processes, with a focus on measurable customer impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance, application support, usage guidance and advice to NEC customers
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of application environments and manage issues to align with SLAs
• Understand contractual commitments and resolve incidents within contracted SLAs
• Translate customer needs into workarounds and fixes for a broad range of problems
• Identify and develop opportunities for revenue generation through additional services and solutions
• Liaise with Product and Development teams to improve customer satisfaction

Key requirements

• Extensive knowledge of Revenues and Benefits software
• Good knowledge of Business Rates/Council Tax, and/or System Administration
• Ability to recognise and prioritise urgent calls
• Ability to manage an issue to conclusion, coordinating resources as needed
• Experience of working for/with the Public Sector
• Good customer relationship skills
