Overview
In this Sr. Security Analyst role, you will join LevelBlue’s Threat Detection and Response team to monitor and respond to security events 24/7, bridging DFIR with client-facing support. You drive escalation handling, process improvement, and mentor junior analysts to sustain service excellence. You will work with cross-functional security teams and customers to ensure rapid, effective incident response and continuous protection. Responsibilities
- Analyze escalated and complex security cases from endpoint tools
- Resolve technical problems within managed security solutions as part of improvement projects
- Document and improve monitoring and management processes
- Tune blocking/reporting to meet customer needs
- Baseline threat detection for complex environments
- Test and refine EDR/PS policies
- Ensure customer satisfaction and overall service success
- Handle on-call duties including nights and weekends
- Mentor and serve as escalation point for analysts within TDR
- Adhere to security policies and best practices
- Escalate appropriately and maintain documentation with DFIR and client teams
Key requirements
- Intermediate skills in cyber investigation and incident handling
- Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
- Unix/Linux and Windows system administration
- Knowledge of exploit techniques and remediation
- Threat hunting and investigation capabilities
- Web services administration
- Log collection and analysis tools
- Fluent English; German proficiency required; French a plus
